If You've Been Accused

There are resources available to students, staff, and faculty members who have been accused of sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking. The campus policies refer to these individuals as “respondents.”

To fulfill the recommendation(s) set forth by President Napolitano's Task Force on Sexual Violence and Sexual Assault, the Office of Student Conduct (OSC) is the umbrella office for support services for students, particularly Respondents, who are involved with pending investigations and adjudications of sex offense cases. Natania Trapp in the Office of Student Conduct serves as the designated “Respondent Support Coordinator” (RSC) but works with all parties to help them access key campus resources. Specifically, the RSC explains and answers questions about the investigation and adjudication processes, assists with potential accommodations and academic/financial/housing concerns, and explains essential campus resources while making necessary referrals for those resources.
